Luna: Alright. How do I get down there...

Xavier: *he points over at a tube with a ladder going down* through yonder portcullis.

Sweet: Xavier, when are you gonna change your lingo to be bingo, man. All this old english stuff kills my mojo, ya dig?

Xavier: If thou constitutes a change in dialog, I invite ye to purchase a sleuce, develop a means of crossing, and departing the topic post haste!

Sweet: No no no, man! Its "Buy me a river, build a bridge, and get over it!", not that "here ye here ye!" jive you're always spillin'!

Luna: *The climbs down the ladder and looks around at the unpacked boxes.* May as well start. Maybe I'll find the other Cabin worker... *she opens the boxes and the items within are surrounded with a light blue glow. The stuff floated lazily around her as she walked around the area*

*a noise is heard from behind a stack of crates. It sounds like sombody struggling to carry a large load. Suddenly, a voice cries out*

???: WOAH! *a large crash rings out as the person behind the crates falls over and the crates around him falls on top of him* Owwww....Hey! Get me out of here! Help!

Luna: *with the stuff still floating around her, she runs over and helps to move the stuff off the kid* You alright there?

*The kid was a small skunk boy around 11 or 12 years old. His arm is covered by a large silver claw and he has the same kind of black robe that Spirit wears on.*
???: Ow...that really hurt! *he looks up at Luna and smiles* Thanks for the help! You must be the new Cabin Girl! I'm Alex. Alex Tiberius Law. I'm the Cabin Boy! Welcome to Dark Cosmos!

Luna: I'm Luna. Nice to meet you. *the stuff gently is lowered to the ground.*

Alex: *he stands up and starts stacking the boxes back up* Wow, that's a really useful ability you got there! Captain Spirit sure can pick 'em. Anyway, that should take care of the supplies. Lets head back up to the bridge and tell Xavier and Sweet that we're done. *he starts walking. As he does, his sleeve slips, revealing that his arm is a large, silver claw with a black cross on the back of the hand.*

Luna: *she spots the claw and sorta stares at it, intrigued.* What is that, if you don't mind my asking?

Alex: *he looks back at Luna, his eyebrow raised* This? *he pushes his sleeve up, revealing the claw completely* Its called a Divine Tool. To be exact, its the Divine Claw. Its made of a type of Celestial Metal that's called "The Blessing of God". I was kinda born with it, so its been with me forever. Most people get scared by it. But not Xavier, Sweet, or Captain Spirit. They said it was great and that they would be honored to have me on the crew. *he looks at the claw a bit, then back to Luna* You aren't scared by it, are you?

Luna: Hell no! That is so badass!!! *she lifts up his arm and examines the claw further* Wow! I've never seen designing like this! Not even on my world!

Alex: What world are you from?

Luna: *she looks up from examining the claw* Iciaura. You?

Alex: Same here. But, my family's village was destroyed during a Combine raid. The royal army never got there in time...but Spirit did. He beat them all and rescued me. I was already an orphan, luckily. My older brother, he's off doing mercenary work, so I lived alone at the orphanage. I was kinda the only one...but anyway, the captain will be back soon. Lets head up to the bridge and tell Sweet and Xavier that we're done, okay?

Luna: *she was a bit stunned at his story, but she shook off the feeling* Yea. Lets go. *she heads for the ladder*

*Alex and Luna arrive at the command bridge. There, Sweet and Xavier are arguing*

Sweet: And I said we go to Mobius next! Screw Icecrown! Nothing but a ball of blood and ice anyway!

Xavier: But the people in the port would pay greater quantities for our goods!

Sweet: Scit-scat, cat! That don't fly with me! We'd have to go through the Titan's Arm asteroid belt! That is one baaaad patch of rock, ya dig?

Xavier: *he notices Alex and Luna* Ah, the Cabin Boy and Girl appear from the depths of cargo! How went the restocking, Young Alex?

Alex: Great, Xavier. Luna's really useful! I'm glad the Captain found her!

*suddenly, the door opens and in walks Spirit. His calm demeanor seems somewhat panicked.*

Spirit: Sweet, start up the engines. We need to leave. Now!

Xavier: How now, worthy Captain?

Spirit: I said move it! We got a Combine Fleet in orbit! They're lining up in Omega Formation!

Sweet: *his eyes widen and he begins pressing buttons* Hold on to your hats and put your mittens around your kittens, daddios and babygirl! We are outta here! *the ship's engines ignite and the ship takes off. As it does, the spaceport shrinks in the distance as the ship flies into space. However, down rains hundreds of powerful heat beams that destroy one city after another on the planet and begin moving along the surface, slowly turning everything behind them into glass*

Spirit: *he glances at Luna* Well, whatever secret you have, girl, the Combine don't want you leaving this planet alive if they can't have you. Good thing we got away just in time...

Luna: I'll say. If anyone gets a hold of, well.... me, you can kiss any world you see good-bye... *she scoffs and looks out a window* I warn you all now. In me is the potential to destroy worlds, even an entire universe. I wish for you all to never, ever... meet the real me.

Spirit: *he glances at Luna hard for a second, then nods* Very well. We already have enough skeletons in our closets. We won't pester you about yours. *he sits down in the captain's chair* Mr. Sweet, make a course for- *before he can finish, the ship rumbles and throws about from turbulence, as if explosions were going off around the ship* STATUS REPORT, XAVIER!

Xavier: *he's at the radar* Tis a Combine raiding party! They are upon us like the shade of white upon the eastern grain!

Sweet: Man, you mean "Like white on rice", right?! Then say it right, ya dig?

Xavier: Curve thine yammering skull cave, wretched goat!

Spirit: If you two don't stop arguing, I'm launching you both out the air lock! Alex, Luna, I need you two on the turrets! Xavier, how many Combine are after us?!

Xavier: There doth be a baker's dozen!

Sweet: How many?! Speak modern, man!

Xavier: 13!

Spirit: Right, Luna, Alex, light those Combine up!

Alex: Got it, Captain! *he motions to Luna to follow him* This way! *he runs off down the hall past the cargo tube*

Luna: *she follows quickly, eager to take 'em out*

Alex: *he climbs the first set of ladders up to the turret. He sits down in the chair, looking through the glass porthole out at the ships* yep, Combine Interceptors. *he loads the turrets* Ready, Luna?

Luna: *she jumps into the chair, and begins to open fire* DIE YOU SONS OF BITCHES!! *She seemed right at home on the turret.*

Alex: o_o yep, she's ready...*he begins firing at the Combine Interceptors* GET SOME! *One of the ships flies at Luna's turret, only to be destroyed by her barrage of energy bullets*

Spirit: *his voice echoes out over the comlink* Keep it up, you two! We've nearly beaten them! *suddenly, a mechanical roar echoes out.* .....Xavier....what the hell was that?

Xavier: *he checks the radar* Something of a foul sorts, Captain!

Spirit: Details, Xavier!

Xavier: TIS AN EXECUTION LEVIATHAN! *the Leviathan is a large, metallic, lobster-like droid with twin chainguns on its mouth, giant energy pincers, thousands of legs, and plenty of anti-infantry machine gun barrels sticking out from its hardened armored shell. Its red robotic eyes are locked onto the ship and a metallic roar echoes out from it.*

Spirit: I knew it...the Execution Empire and the Combine really are allies...

Sweet: We're in trouble, Captain! I don't think our turrets can take a beast of that size!

Spirit: Don't underestimate this ship, Sweet! Luna, Alex, take care of that thing! Xavier, get out the frying pan and melt the butter. I want that overgrown lobster droid served on a silver platter!

Xavier: Aye, Captain!

Luna: *as she's shooting, she thinks. Nodding to herself, she stops firing* Is there a way for me to get out there? I have a half-baked idea, but it may do the trick!!!

Spirit: Hmmmm...

Sweet: There's no way she can take that thing in deep space!

Spirit: Sweet, open the cargo hatch. Luna, take that sucker down.

Sweet: But Captain-

Spirit: *he glares at Sweet*

Sweet: .....Shutting up and opening the hatch....*he presses a button to open the hatch*

Spirit: Good luck, Luna.

Luna: Aye aye capt'n! *she surrounds herself with an icy blue aura and dives out of the hatch.* Alright ya bastard, time to deep fry your ass! *she holds her hands infront of her as red particles begin charging. Her eyes redden and her hands erupt with a pure white fire*
