Episode One: Part One: The Boy Who Was Blessed By God. Does Avalon Really Exist?

A street lamp flickers on and off out on the lowly night-time streets of Chapel City. Footsteps echo from the dark as a woman walks under the lamp. suddenly, a shadow steps out from the darkness. it is a man in a dark red cloak. his red eyes glow from the dark of his hood.
???: Hello, my dear....
Woman: wh-who are you?!
???: the being who can make all of your dreams come true.....all for a reasonable price....
Woman: really? I know, I want the new Gucci bag!
???: Really? A BAG!? you humans will sell your souls for anything these days.....
Woman: my what?!
The man reaches his hand out of his cloak. his hand is a black iron claw with a pentagonal drawn on the palm. he reaches forward and grabs the woman by the face. as soon as he touches her, her body glows dark black and her skin turns pale blue. she goes limp and falls over. she then gets up and transforms into a small grey imp.
???: an Imp? figures.....
The figure turns and walks off, the Imp following behind him.

It is now Morning in Chapel City. the train arrives and a boy skunk steps off the train. he is wearing a long black Catholic priest's cloak with his right arm hidden. he appears to be about 12 years old. as soon as he sets foot onto the deck, a large bull in Crusader armor with a Catholic-priest-style tabbard on over the armor walks up to him.
???: Alex Tiberius Law?
Alex: thats me! who are you?
???: My name is Archemedes Q. Porter. I'm from the Celestial Faith. I'm here to escort you to Paradisio Chapel.
Alex: The Faith's HQ? wow, when I applied for the job as a clergyman, I didn't think I'd get to see Paradisio so soon...
Archemedes: High Furor Cross would like to see you himself.
Alex: THE POPE!?
Archemedes: That is what the general public knows him as....but yes, he does want to see you.....
Alex: Lead the way, Archy!
Archemeses: Please don't call me that.......
The two walk off to the Chapel. as they walk, they hear some guys talking around a newspaper stand.
Guy1: Did you hear? another person went missing last night...
Guy2: yeah, I hear all they found was clothes....this city is getting really scary to live in....
The two continue to move. after about 2 hours of walking, they finally arrive at the Chapel. it is a large building, the largest in the city. at least 100 stories tall from ground to tower peaks, it towers over every building in the city. it is also located in the dead center of the city.
Alex: wow...
Archemedes: this way. we don't want to keep the Furor waiting....
Alex: right!
Alex catches up to Archemedes. as they walk through the Chapel, they are greeted by other Faith members, all in the same Catholic robes as Alex. Finally, Archemedes leads Alex into a large atrium where, sitting on a large throne, sits a tall male white lion. His pope robes are draped over his shoulders while his arms are not through the sleeves. he is wearing full armor underneath the robes. Covering his left eye is a black eye patch. He smiles at Alex and nods.
Cross: Alex Law.....the famous boy from Mobius. Welcome to Planet Gabriel. I am High Furor and Pope Cross Mauser.
Alex kneels at the throne.
Alex: its an honor, sir.
Cross: the Honor is all mine, Alex. I hear you have been blessed with a Divine Tool. will you please show me?
Alex: I don't know....it scares everyone who sees it.....
Cross: I won't be scared. I am just like you. I have a Divine Tool.
Cross lifts the eye patch. his eye is full liquid silver with a cross symbol where is pupil and iris should be.
Cross: I have Have been blessed with the Divine Eye Zakura. With it, I can see the future and the truths in all people.
Alex: WOW! ok, here's mine....
Alex lifts off his cloak and shows his right arm. it is a large silver claw with a black cross on the front of the hand.
Alex: This is the Divine Claw Aragog! I can use it to do lots of cool stuff!
Cross: You don't know how to control your powers fully yet....then you will learn as a Clergyman of the Celestial Faith. Now tell me, Alex, What is your dream in this world?
Alex:.......I'm going to find Avalon, the resting place of the founder of the Faith, King Arthur!
Archemedes hears this and almost falls over laughing.
Archemedes: Avalon isn't real, kid. we've searched for it for decades and have never found a single clue to its location!
Alex: well, then I'll succeed where you guys give up! I'll find Avalon!
Cross: hmmm.....a pure dream for a pure soul......

Episode One: Part Two
That night, Alex laid in his bed, still wondering about what Cross had said.
"a pure dream for a pure soul.....'
Alex: pure.....yeah right......I'm the farthest thing from pure......
Alex turns over and closes his eyes.

The next morning a grunt arrives to Alex's room.
Grunt: Mr. Law! Furor Cross would like to see you in the atrium at once.
Alex: Right.
Alex walks out of his room and into the atrium. Archemedes is already there waiting for him as well as Cross.
Cross: glad you could make it, Alex. how did you sleep?
Alex: ok. Whats going on, sir?
Cross: Your first assignment. You and Archemedes will be working together from now on. I'll assign more people to your squad later, but right now its just you two.
Archemedes: But sir! Why should I, a Crusader-class soldier, work with a lowly Clergyman!?
Cross: Because I say so. Now, your assignment is simple. recently, people have been disappearing from the city at night. I want you two to investigate why and catch the culprit.
Alex: Right!
Archemedes: But sir....
Cross: this is an ORDER, Archemedes.
Archemedes: Yes, Mein Furor.....
Archemedes and Alex both walk out of the atrium. As they walk, Archemedes grabs Alex and throws him up against the wall.
Archemedes: Lets get one thing straight, Law. Cross may have partnered us up, but don't think you can give me orders. I'm calling the shots on this mission. got it?
Alex: the hostility is really unnecessary. I was going to suggest you lead the way anyway......
Archemedes puts Alex down and glares at him.
Archemedes: good. now, lets get moving....

Alex and Archemedes comb the whole city looking for evidence. as night falls, the two begin to give up. just then, they hear a man scream and they run to see what was wrong. they find the man being held by the face by a man in a dark red cloak. Another man in a cloak is standing next to him. the dark Iron claw that is his hand is wrapped around the man's face. the man glows for a second and then transforms into a large demon with red skin, horns, and a greatsword. the cloaked man looks up at his creation.
???: a Fel Guard.....not bad at all......
Alex: Freeze! you're under arrest!
Alex is standing there, holding his claw out at the demon and the two cloaked men.
???: Oh great.......
He gestures to his cloaked companion.
???: Tristan, you deal with them.....I have better things to do......
The other cloaked man pulls down his hood to reveal a handsome human man with brown curly hair. the only not-human thing about him was that he had horns growing from his head and his eyes were pure red.
Tristan: Yes, My Lord.......

Episode One: Part Three
Archemedes: This guy's face looks familiar....Stay on your guard, Law!
Alex: Gotcha!
Tristan: You two are members of the Faith, are you not? It pains me to do this, but I must kill you both here and now. Just know that I hold no personal hatred towards you...
Alex and Archemedes both charge. Archemedes moves his hands in a hammer form down at Tristan, only to be blocked by one of Tristan's fingers. Tristan then grabs Archemedes by the hands and throws him into a wall with relative ease. Alex was already upon Tristan, however, and succeeds in slicing Tristan in the arm with his claw. A loud hiss screeches from the wound and Tristan looks at his arm with relative surprise.
Tristan: You wield a Divine Tool? Now that's interesting....Tell me, do you know who you fight?
Alex: a demon.
Tristan: I see they never showed you the grand portrait in the Chapel....
Archemedes: Wait.....Tristan....the portrait....THAT'S WHERE I SAW YOU FROM! But this is impossible....you can't be THAT Tristan...you should be dead!
Tristan: Oh I'm alive. A demon with no free will, but alive none the less....
Alex: Archy, who is this guy?
Archemedes: I'm not sure if this is a trick or not, but he looks like Sir Tristan, one of the Knights of the Round Table....
Alex: SIR TRISTAN!? But he's dead!
Tristan: As I said, I'm not dead, I'm a demon.
Tristan charges forward and punches Alex in the gut.
Tristan: It pains me to harm a child, but I must do as he commands...
Alex is winded and then his face meets Tristan's boot and he is sent flying into a wall, leaving a large crater in that wall. Archemedes recovered and charged at Tristan, tackling him to the ground. As Tristan tried to shove Archemedes off him, Archemedes's body flashes and his body becomes pure diamond. His weight crushes Tristan.
Tristan: ARGH! My ribs and legs are broken! I can't move!
Archemedes shifts back to normal and gets up. Tristan twitches from the pain and Alex limps a bit over to him.
Alex: If you are Sir Tristan, then why are you a demon? Who was the guy making more demons with that black claw?
Tristan: Each of us....made a deal with him. Each of the Knights made a deal with that man. In exchange for giving us what we desired, we are forced to serve him as his demon minions and generals....
Archemedes: Who is he?
Tristan smiles.
Tristan: Now that I am dying, I am free to speak.....He is Mordred....Son of the Fey....
Archemedes goes pale as a ghost and backs up, leaning on a wall for support.
Archemedes: M...M....Mordred?! But Arthur destroyed him!
Tristan shakes his head slowly
Tristan: No....No Arthur failed. Mordred's mother, Morgana, sealed an arch-demon into her son's dying body, his arm to be exact.....the boy lived, became immortal, and is now building his army....I joined it when he promised me.....he promised me Isolde....my beautiful Isolde......I asked him to make it so she would love me for all time, but he tricked me....He killed her and bound her spirit to follow me for all time, tranced into loving me.....Please, warn the current Pope....The Fey.....approach....
With that last breath, Tristan's body glows white and he disappears.
Alex:....this is big, Archy....really big.
Archemedes: We have to warn Furor Cross. NOW.
the two of them walk off into the night.

And that concludes the first episode of the Avalon Series! I know its been a while since I've posted the rest of it, but I've been having bad writer's block and I've been working on other projects in the forums. There will definitely be more episodes, just not as often as I had originally hoped ^_^;
