Shiro looked at him before she giggled a little bit quietly, thinking it was funny his friend would annoy him that much.

"I guess maybe having me around to talk to would be nice then?"

She asked and smiled at him a little bit hesitantly.

Lance smiled back at Shiro and nodded slowly.

"I suppose you've been better company than him lately yes. Though don't let that go to your head. However annoying he is, Raiken is still my spirit partner. We've learned to get along despite our differences between each other."

He reminds her.

Shiro looked at him before she shrugged some and looked away as she spoke in response to him.

"You aren't the first person I have gotten close to... but it has been a long time so I won't be too close for a while."

She mumbled and stretched some.

Lance nods at Shiro's statement, smiling as he watches her stretch.

"That's something I expected to hear from you. To be honest I didn't think you'd be the one having to chase me this whole time. I thought it would be the other way around."

He admitted with a cheeky grin.

Shiro looked at him and started to pout, blushing lightly as she looked away and shook her head.

"I made you unhappy, I decided it was the right thing to try and fix it. Would you rather I just leave you now then?"

She mumbled quietly as she walked and looked at the dorms as they got closer.

Lance gave a chuckle and shook his head as the dorms came into view for them.

"If you really want to stay with me then that's fine. I won't stop you if you want to just leave me alone. In any case we should probably go to sleep once we get back. It's been quite an eventful day to say the least."

He admits to her, pausing to shoulder Raiken as he almost falls off of his head with a chuckle.

Shiro looked at him when she was listening, confused why he stopped though as she stopped to stay with him.

"Of course, though I will see you in the morning when we get breakfast. I guess then I can decide if I will stay with you."

She said and shrugged slightly

Lance nods to what Shiro says as the pair reach the dorms, him holding the door open for her.

"Sounds fine with me."

He responds.

Shiro smiled some as she went inside before yawning some as she did, realizing now how tired she was from the day. When she was inside she turned to look at him and smiled some again as she did.

"I hope you rest well then, heal soon I suppose. See you in the morning."

She said and walked off to go to her room. Since she was tired she didn't bother with anything besides locking her door and changing. She didn't want to shower that night so she just got into bed and fell asleep quickly.

Lance yawned as he went into his room and threw his dirty shirt into the corner of his bedroom. There was a small pile-up of clothing there and his room was a bit messy but he had a very neat looking desk on one side of his room. Everything on it seemed to be kept in clean and organized conditions at all times on top of it. He sighed and set Raiken down onto his bed before lying down next to his tiny partner, stroking him a bit and making him stretch out subconsciously. He sighed and laid down onto his back before staring up at the mural of the thunder dragon on his ceiling. It was hand-painted with what appeared to be great and meticulous skill and handiwork. He once again, as he did every night, reached up from where he was on the bed and pointlessly tried to grasp the dragon's claw. As usual he only grabbed the air and he sighed.

One day....I will hold that creature's claw with my own hands....

He thought to himself as he soon yawned and curled up with Raiken to sleep.

Shiro woke up a little bit early, used to waking up before the sun came up to train. Though it wasn't too much it just kept her in shape and helped her get better eventually. She just did a few stretches and patterns with her Glaive until the sun came up. Nodding a bit after that she got into the shower and sighed as she thought. That she was even trying to make friends with someone was new to her, and odd since she felt she couldn't trust him easily.

She just finished her shower quickly to get out and to the cafeteria and find Lance.

Lance gives a groan as he hears Raiken yelling at him to get up and get breakfast that morning, grabbing him by the scruff of his neck and glaring at him as he got up.

"Sheesh I'm up already. Go bug someone else like that every morning huh?"

He told him, Raiken giving a pout and crossing his arms.

It's not like you'll get up if I don't bug the crap out of you every morning! Now hurry up and get dressed and stuff so we can get breakfast! I bet that Shiro girl's waiting for you!

He reminds him, Lance dropping him back onto the bed with a yawn before going to get a shower and redressing his bandages. He doesn't bother with a shirt this time, simply choosing a larger amount of bandages to compensate for his lack of clothing on his torso before slinging an extra shirt over his shoulder and his spear onto his back. After reaching the cafeteria he grabs some toast and eggs before heading over to his own seat in the cafeteria and beginning to eat.

Shiro noticed when Lance came in and smiled some, moving over to sit with him quietly as she had her own food already. She just picked some pancakes and fruit to eat which she had already eaten most of it.

"Did you sleep well? And decide you didn't really need a shirt?"

She asked and tilted her head some as she watched him. She kept eating though as soon as she had sat near him.

Lance nodded slowly as he finished what food was in his mouth before responding to Shiro's questions.

"I slept well enough I guess. As for the shirt thing, it's warm outside today so I'm definitely much better off without a shirt than you are in your dress."

He answered her, smirking at his remark about her dress.

Shiro looked confused before looking down at her dress some, she had tried to pick one of her lighter dresses but it was still black of course. That made her pout some though as she looked back at him.

"Unlike you though I can't go without a shirt, even with bandages on I bet I would get looks I don't like."

She said and crossed her arms over her chest some.

"You should be glad I am at least a modest person."

Lance gave her a small sigh and then a smile.

"I think some of the guys around here don't feel the same way. Though I'm not of those guys, you would at least do better with some more form-fitting clothing. Do you ever wear T-shirts or jeans at all?"

He asks her, finishing his food as the two were talking.

"Why would I do better to have form fitting clothes?"

Shiro said as she pouted a bit more, wondering why he would say that. Though she wouldn't admit why she didn't wear normal clothes like that. Mostly because she made her own clothes and had only ever been taught how to make dresses. Plus she didn't have the fabric often to make such things.

Lance sighs as she questions why she would do better in form-fitting clothing.

"If you were to wear more form-fitting clothing don't you think you would be able to move a bit more freely and fight more easily than in a dress like that? Isn't it restricting to fight in a dress like you do?"

He asks her back.

Shiro looked at him a bit quietly before sighing after a minute, nodding some as she looked down.

"I suppose you are right... I just haven't had the money to get any or make some."

She mumbled and moved to eat the last of her food.

Lance looks at Shiro for a moment before standing up and putting his tray away.

"I think I might know someone who can help you out there....she's a bit energetic but she's really nice. She might have some spare clothing for you to try on if you're willing to trust me for the time being."

He asks her, looking her up and down and sizing her up.

Shiro followed him when he got up and looked confused as she listened to him.

"I guess I wouldn't mind trying it..."

She said quietly, though was worried about meeting and being close to someone new like that all of the sudden.

Lance nods and smiles, offering Shiro his hand.

"Let's see if we can catch her in her room. She tends to sleep in really late so it's likely that we'll find her there. Otherwise we'll be able to find her in the battle class somewhere."

He tells her, an amused smile on his lips. This would be very entertaining to see Shiro trying on different clothing like this.

Shiro looked at his hand before taking it lightly, nodding some as she listened to him.

"I guess that will be where to find her then, I hope we can get her in her room."

She mumbled and looked around quietly.

Lance leads Shiro to the dorms and up onto one of the upper floors before knocking on a door with what seems to be a collection of butterflies on the outside of it.  He clears his throat before speaking.

"Hey Ikari!  You up?"

He calls out to her loudly, some music shutting off inside of the room as the doorknob shifts and moves.  Soon enough it opens and a girl about Shiro's age pokes her head out and looks the pair up and down.  She frowns at them.

Spoiler:

"What do you want Lance?  And why did you bring another girl here?  If you wanted to ask me out like everyone else, you're not doing the greatest job of it hun."

She tells him, raising an eyebrow to Shiro.  She seemed a bit odd....to be wearing a dress like that and using a polearm-like weapon....

Shiro couldn't help but look at the girl when they had gotten there and she came out of the room, her head tilting to the side slightly as she did. Though she couldn't help but smile slightly at what the girl had said and looked at Lance, mostly since she was wondering what he would say about such a thing.

"Surely you did bring me to find some clothes rather then ask someone out right?"

She asked him quietly as she smiled a bit.
