The buzzer went off as I entered her cell room. She was laying on the floor. I sighed then proceeded to wake her with a loud clap.

The guard gave Seize a straight look then signaled him to follow.

CLAP.

At that sound, I bolted upright. With widened eyes, I looked at the white-coat. I guess it was time for my evaluation. Taking several deep breaths, I stood up and took a step forward.

I tilted my head, indicating that she should follow me. I led her down the hallway, eventually joining the guard escorting Seize. "Dismissed." At the command, the guard walked the opposite direction. "Seize. I hope you are feeling better?"

"Peachy," was my reply. I folded my arms, avoiding eye contact as I followed the Philosopher and #192. Yeah, the Philosopher was the same guy who had broken up the fight between #222 and myself. I had forgotten his name, but I was pretty sure he held a reasonable amount of power within this hellhole. But as for the girl? Don't think I've ever seen her before.

"Someone you're going to help..." He glanced around as they walked, scanning the area each time. Just follow me. "Her code name is now Leech; however, please refer to her as One-Ninety-Two in public." I whispered.

"Leech? That's great for self-esteem..." I muttered under my breath. "So, how do I help One-Ninety-Two? Be her cheerleader on the sidelines?"

I looked between the two, confused. "I don't think we could exactly tag team this... So what's going on?" I spoke quietly.

They approached the entrance to The Show Room and stopped. He turned to them. "Shake hands and you will have done enough."

I raised an eyebrow in disdain. What game was he playing at? I shoved my hands in my pockets, unwilling to comply.

I looked at the Scientist. How is shaking hands supposed to help exactly? I refused to hold my hand out.

"This is no time to get cocky. She is going to die if you refuse this. Besides, what exactly do you expect from a handshake with a peer?" I shook my head at their ignorance. "If you both refuse, that is your choice. I can't explain my motives at this time. She must enter now, or they will drag her in there themselves."

"Can't explain? ...Or won't?" I shot back though gritted teeth. I hated the Philosophers and these scientists with a burning passion, but as I thought about the situation, I began to weigh my options. I didn't know the cons, and I didn't know much about this situation either. This girl was apparently going to die if I didn't comply? Yes, I hated the scientists, but the experiments...? They were like me. Lost. Scared. Confused as hell. We were, for lack of a better term, equals. I grunted before removing my hands from my pockets and holding my hand out.

"Whatever... I'm not doing this for you."

I took hold of his hand. I could feel that strange tingle in my hands again. Suddenly, I became alert to everything around me. I felt ready.

I flinched as my hand tingled at her touch. I quickly pulled my hand away and took a step back.

"What was that?" I looked at my hand in shock. "What did you do?!"

"Leech, go in. Sieze, follow me. I'll explain." I quickly hurried to the crowded upper panels surrounding the dome-shaped Show Room.

I watched them leave. With a deep breath I opened the door and stepped inside the Show Room. I looked up and around; so many people were watching. I could feel my heart pounding, adrenaline racing through me. Who... or what was I going to fight?

Clutching my hand like it was a lifeline, I followed the Philosopher. Looking at the new surroundings, I became more and more nervous. Was I actually allowed into an area like this?

Across from Leech was what looked like herself, a doppelganger. The doppel jolted at the experiment at a great speed, aiming for a tackle.

"There is no need to feel anxious, Seize." I brought him to the sidelines but spoken in a low tone as to not be overheard. "Do you hate being here?"

A doppleganger?! I gulped as the thing came running at me, full speed. Then I saw it. At the last second, I jumped to the left. then took three steps back, a few feet from a wall.

The doppelganger flipped in the air as it missed. It landed about 10ft from Leech, facing her. The walls flipped horizontally, revealing an entire armory of weaponry. (Melee Weapons Only.) The doppelganger raced to a wall to grab a Morning Star.

I sighed. "I can't fully understand your hatred. What I can understand is why." I glanced down every so often to see how Leech had been doing in the Trial. "I've been here for so long. I even forgot what I was at some point." I removed my glasses and leaned on the balcony wall, thinking.

Oh God... What kind of place is this?!

I kept my back to the wall, but viewed the weapons out of the corner of my eye. Doppel over there went for something heavy, probably likely to impair speed a bit. I knew exactly what to go for; it was incredibly light and fast, but at the same time, deadly. Still facing away from the weapons I moved slowly towards another section.

"I'm sure you were a swell guy..." I said under my breath. I returned my attention to the fight, watching Leech brawl with her doppelganger.

I sighed. "I hear the resentment in your voice..." I returned my glasses to my face. "I have a proposition for you, and anyone else willing to help. You mustn't reveal anything I say to you to anyone." I glanced down as leech made a run for a weapon. "She'll be fine. She has your ability."

The doppelganger swung the Morning Star around its head as it charged for Leech.
