Phantasia Spa

Aki blinked, momentarily shocked, before she lifted a hand to her face, rubbing the bridge of her nose. She muttered something under her breath, hardly intelligible, though the word "dad" stuck out. She shook her head, then lifted her gaze to the others once again.

"..I hadn't any idea he could be so violent. The bastard." The last two words she muttered again.

Yuriko smiled kindly at Rufus, her mocking look now gone from her face. "I'm Yuriko." She introduced herself for the first time, motioning to her two companions. "Those two are Shinjo and Ako, my bodyguards." She tilted her head to the side, taking note of how nervous Rufus seemed.

"And what's wrong with you, dearie? You look as if you've seen a ghost!"

"He's just afraid of crowds." Sleipnir explained. "Make him the center of attention and you turn him into a stuttering idiot."

Indeed, Rufus was speechless.

Yuriko chuckled softly, reaching out to take Rufus' hand. "No worries, dearie! I don't bite!" She leaned forward slightly, looking him up and down for some moments.

"So why is such an attractive boy like you so shy?" She almost giggled.

"Sorry, but... he suffered quite a bit of mental trauma," Sleipnir explained for the mute teenager. "He lost everything that kept him sane, and he's still holding on by a thread."

Rufus' face soon devolved into a fear-filled gaze, and the sorrow in it was intense. Memories were most certainly surging back, and for him, it was giving him a blue screen of death.

Alex: *looks up at Rufus and smiles.* You seem nice! But kinda cowardly....Its OK! You remind me of Balthazar! He's another Divine Arms wielder! He's this Narwhal that has a Divine tongue! it lets him communicate with any being of any language, makes anything he says come true, like a cheese hoagie appearing in his hand, and he rarely ever jumps into a fight! He just runs away.....he also keeps trying to get Chloe to do something with him that I don't know about. Archy said he'd tell me when I'm older, and Chloe said I should never be like Balthazar. She said he's something called a Pervert. What are those? Are they a type of Celestial Faith Knight group?

Cross: At any rate, we're just here to secure our reservation. More members of the Faith will be arriving shortly....
Archemedes: Which ones, Lord Cross?
Cross: Macduff, Petrutio, Ross, and Balthazar.
Chloe: *she turns red when she hears Balthazar's name.* THAT IDIOT?! WHY ARE YOU LETTING HIM COME HERE, HIGH POPE?!
Cross: Because he's a member of the Faith as well....why?
Chloe: *she turns around and crosses her arms.* Nothing. Just keep him away from me!

"A pervert?" Sleipnir asked. "Rufus calls me one sometimes, though I'm simply trying to flirt with women."

Nobody noticed Rufus slowly backing off.

Yuriko chuckled at Alex's talk of a pervert, placing her hands on her hips lightly as she leaned towards the boy. "A pervert, eh? I'd say a pervert is someone who likes to flirt a bit too much. Even I'm one, but they're pretty common. At least I have the dignity to keep it in private.." As she speaks, she spots Rufus out of the corner of her eye, but shrugs inwardly, figuring she'd better not make him too uncomfortable. Not in public anyway.

Aki nodded slightly at the others, sighing heavily, and stepping back towards Yuriko, Shinjo trailing behind her. "This place is a spa right? Can we get on with the relaxing then? I don't think I've had a decent bath in weeks." Yuriko looked momentarily shocked, before she smiled, happy that she might get her "kids" to take a day off from their stress.

Shinjo blinked. "Wait, what about me? I... can't join you. Separation is bad, especially if we ARE your bodyguards.."

Cross: I assure both of you, there is nothing dangerous at this spa. I could sense it. *he taps his temple next to his Divine Eye.*

~outside the lobby.~
*Another Celestial Faith ship lands. out walks a tall Narwhal in a priest's coat similar to Alex's. His tooth sticks out slightly. he smiles mischievously, holds out his arms, and yells at the top of his lungs.*
Balthazar: HELLLLOOOOOOOOO INTERDIMENTIONAL HOTTIES! WAIT NO MORE! BALTHAZAR HAS ARRIVED!
*next walks a shorter badger with glasses. He is in a monk's cloak and his hair is gelled back. He looks rather annoyed at Balthazar*
Balthazar: *looks at the badger* C'mon, Ross! Lets go get you some inter-dimensional tail!
Ross: *his voice is complimented by a soothing yet heavy British accent.* I'd rather not. Honestly, have you no shame Balthazar? You're supposed to be a man of the cloth.......
*next out walks a boar in crusader armor. around the outside of this armor is a green, red, brown, and black Scottish kilt.*
Ross: *to the boar* Wouldn't you agree, MacDuff?
Macduff: *his voice has a rough, heavy Scottish accent.* Don't be draggin' me into this, laddy. I really don't care what blubber boy does, so long as nobody close to me gets hurt.
Balthazar: Blubber boy?! Say that again, Lowlander!
Macduff: *puts down his bags and gets in Balthazar's face.* I am not a Lowlander, ya stupid Haggis! I'm a Highlander! Get it right before i crush your skull like an overly-ripe grape!
*finally, out walks a human boy. He appears to be about 18 with short brown hair that naturally spikes, pale skin, skinny build, and greenish hazel eyes. He is wearing a priest's suit. Ross turns to him and smiles.*
Ross: Petrutio. Good to see you're awake. Now that we're all out, we should head inside and meet with the high pope.
Petrutio: Agreed. *his voice seems quiet, yet has a tone that says he's seen a lot and that when he speaks, you should listen.*
Balthazar: *he and MacDuff are still at it, but when Petutio speaks, they stop and they follow him and Ross.*
Petrutio: Ross.....can you do the talking in there?
Ross: Why? Is it acting up again?
Petrutio: No.....but I'm just not in a talkative mood. Plus I don't want Balthazar shooting his mouth off at the first woman other than Chloe that he sees.....
Balthazar: HEY!
Ross: Good thinking. *he smiles and keeps walking with the group.*

Alex: There is something you should know about my comrade, Petrutio. He's a human, like you guys! but his Divine Armament is different than any else. He has the Divine Heart!

*A light brown deer walks past Balthazar's group. She tightens the gloves on her hands and the goggles on her forhead glisten in the light. She wears a black halter top and black short shorts that are bound to get guy's attention. Black knee high boots complete her look. On the belt around her waist are a grappling hook, a zipline shooter, mini tranquilizer gun and darts, and a dagger. Around her kneck is a black diamond with a strange red symbol in the middle. The hilt guard of the dagger glows slightly. She walks up to the front desk* Excuse me, I have a reservation here. Ibbie Laudrez?

Balthazar: *ogles every inch of the deer, his silver metal tongue sticking out and his eyes nearly bulging out of his head.* Oh my god.......Forgive me, lord, for I am about to sin....A lot!
MacDuff: Ay, Lad! That would be one lass that I would definitely lay down my claymore for!
Ross: Have you two no shame?!
Balthazar: Let me respond to that in the following way......*he speed-dashes over to the deer and appears next to her, leaning on the desk.* Well Hellooooo beautiful! Name's Balthazar Conrad. Celestial Faith Exorcist, and total man of the ladies. Who may I ask are you who would turn the head of even Lennox the god of the Hunt and Chastity?
Ross: *facepalms and shakes his head.* How is it that he can call himself a servant of the Gods?!

*The deer turns away from thr desk and looks at him with a sly grin.*
???: The name is Ibbie and I'm pretty sure that isn't the proper way for a priest to act. *the dagger at her side glows and a voice can be heard*
????: Burn~
Ibbie: Shut it Tanto. *she takes her room key, winks at Balthazar, and heads for the elevator. As she walks away a small silver cross can be seen tattooed on the back of her neck*

Balthazar: Oh hallelujah! *he goes to follow her, but Cross grabs him by the back of the shirt.*
Cross: Balthazar, is that really appropriate?
Balthazar: Sorry, High Pope....
Cross: *he thinks for a while, then lets Balthazar go.* Fine. go.
Balthazar: *hugs the pope.* I LOVE YOU, SIR! *he turns and runs after Ibbie.*
Ross: Was that really wise, sir?
Cross: Don't worry. We're on vacation, so we should let Balthazar have a little fun. Besides, it will keep him away from Chloe.
MacDuff: Good point, sir.
Alex: Where's Balthazar going?
MacDuff: To do a very bad thing, Alex. You'll learn about it when you're older.
Alex: But is he gonna kill that deer or something?
Archemedes: no, but what he's doing is still bad. Very bad.....

Balthazar: *finally catches up to Ibbie* Excuse me, Miss Ibbie, but perhaps a fine young lady like yourself would like a strong Exorcist as an escort for this evening?

Ibbie: no thank you. I've had run ins with exorcists before...

Balthazar: *looks defeated.* Sheesh. What happened to the cute flirt?

Ibbie: I'm sorry... *she grabs her head and groans in pain*

The loud shout given off from Balthazar made Sleipnir jump, and forget about Rufus slinking off. Indeed, he had absolutely disappeared. "That's it, I really need a bath." he moaned, scratching his long face with one of his hooves.

Unbeknownst to Sleipnir, Rufus had already run off to the hot springs. He was standing by there, looking a little lost. The brochure had indicated there were changing rooms around them, but... he couldn't find them. "Looking for something?" someone behind him asked, causing Rufus to jump.

He turned around to see someone roughly his age, with messy black hair and blood-red eyes wearing what looked like nylon hakama while remaining shirtless. Rufus instinctively noticed he had a tail, like the little girl at the counter, although he looked decisively less animal. In fact, if Rufus squinted, he could just barely see wolf ears poking out of his hair. "Yes, actually..." Rufus replied, attempting to keep a calm face. "I'm looking for the changing rooms."

"That way, sir." he pointed behind himself, towards what looked like slightly larger outhouses. "Don't worry, they're not real outhouses."

"Thank you." Rufus bowed slightly as he walked off towards said outhouses.

Balthazar: Hey, you OK?

Ibbie: What does he want now..... *he necklace lets off a dark energy.*

OOC: Okay, I'm confused... Is Balthazar talking to Sleipnir?

OOC: No, to Ibbie.

OOC: Ah, thanks.

Yuriko blinked at the sudden commotion, then immediately noted how uncomfortable her companions were growing. With a chuckle towards Sleipnir's comment, she turned, starting to head towards the springs as well. She waved a hand so Shinjo and Aki would know to follow her.

"Well, let's just head over there then! We all can relax, I'm sure. Plus, there may be a spa for men and women to bathe together!" Yuriko grinned as she looked over her shoulder, spotting Shinjo blushing as he looked awkwardly at Aki, whose gaze remained forward as they walked.

Petrutio: *he notices Yuriko and starts to blush a bit.*
Ross: What is wrong with the people in this team?!
Petrutio: *snaps out of it.* What?
Ross: *looks at Petrutio with a bit of suspicion.* Those people seem strange, Petrutio. It would be unwise to try and mingle with them for a lengthy period of time. After all, the Divine heart is sensitive....
Petrutio: Who was that girl?
MacDuff: OOOOH! Young Petrutio seems to have taken a wee bit of a fancy to that human lass over there....
Ross: Petrutio! you aren't thinking like Balthazar, are you?!
Petrutio: NO! I was thinking she looks....nice....and kinda beautiful.....*he blushes a bit.*
Cross: *he smiles.* at least your intentions are purer than Balthazar's.
Chloe: I think its sweet.
Archemedes: This whole team is going to hell! I swear!
Alex: *he isn't even paying attention to the team. He walks around the spa and arrives at a door marked in a language he can't read. Little does he know, it says "Girl's Spring."*

Ibbie: *She stands up and quickly runs into her room and slams the door. A third voice can now be heard.* Cichol... what do you want now?
Cichol: I'm still waiting...
Ibbie: grrr... A fomor can only do so much!
Tanto: cool it Ibbie...
Cichol: I don't like being impatient...
Ibbie: You're just gonna have to wait!
Cichol: . . . I'll give you to the end of your vacation.
*the voice disappears.*

Sleipnir decided to follow Yuriko. "Hey, uh..." he began. "Got room for a horse?"

Meanwhile, Rufus stepped out of the changing room, wearing a pair of old trunks, and attempted to find an empty pool. Unfortunately, a lot of them were filled... to the brim. There was one pool next to the fence, in the corner, which was empty. "Perfect," he thought to himself, getting in and relaxing. "Ah..."
