I'm so thrilled that you love it! I was really worried that you wouldn't since you've got a few different designs floating around, but I'm glad that you do like it!! Do you want me to try any other characters? I'm already trying one of Ray's, so why not make more? I designed most of these for the wiki, kinda like how Sonic News Network has their arts all prettiful. XD *nerd alert*

Yeah, I'm kinda undecided on a few of his design traits eg. the head stripe, the tail length (mainly because having a long tail and long scarf would look weird to me, but not having a long tail might make him seem less feline.) But the changes are usually minor from design to design. *shrug*

Once I put up more references, I'd be more then happy to see more characters in your style!

I'm working on their bios for the sake of proper storytelling alongside my many other things, but four out of these six were actually adopted from two users on Deviantart.  I'm really glad I did though!

I have a very dark sense of humor and I enjoy pain in all of its forms (including that of what's done to myself sometimes).

I hate guns but I love most medieval weapons (bow and arrow, sword and shield, etc., etc.)

If given a choice I would take speed over power everytime.  My favorite theme for stories when I write is angel's and demons.

Have fun with that list of thing's and let's see what you guys come up with!  ^^

Needless-to-say, they probably won't apply all of those things.
If all you want is a characterized Hedgehog, that's one thing.

Ahhhmmm....
Maybe a little more specific, like gender, species, and fighting style (you did mention ye olde weapons though, so that might help some)?  Also age and body shape helps too (height and weight).  Gotta make it unique!  When I draw with Luna or Genesis I always ask them these kinds of things, since I want it to be the spitting image of what they imagined!  When I draw for Blastion, I draw flaming kilts on foxes and badass Vein, but also try to keep in mind perfection!  XP  ^w^

I can definitely get some ideas from what you gave, but to avoid it looking like some astronomically confused bloody hedgehog that just stepped out of Sonic.exe, I'll just need these few other details.

Also, if you have 20 points on Deviantart (huge discount from what I was originally asking for) I can get this done in flat color for you today.  ^_^

WolfHog hybrids could be in order for that little dilemma; I never discriminate species when it comes to this kind of thing.  ^_^

It will be a digital flat colored sketch, since that's just easier to work on at the moment.  I hope that's fine with you!

So I ran with the stars, darkness, angelic, green and Tonfa themes with your specifications of wolf-hedgehog and keeping him skinny and aerodynamic looking, and then this came out!  ^_^  I did try to go with a medieval look as well (after all, the time of the ninja and samurai were equivalent to that of the western dark ages in concept and such). So here we are!  ShadowFantasy's Sonicized character!

How do you like him?

My personal favorite thing about this character's design is the outfit, since its spacey and dark and I love astronomy to death.  Didn't want to go too dark though, thanks to my pet peeve about characters being nothing but dark everywhere - black clothes, gray shoes or gloves, dark fur, dark eyes, that's waaaaay too much.  This was the most I'm willing to go since it does lighten up in a few places, but I really hope that's okay Mr. Fantasy!  ^^;
