Secrets of the Memory Mage

Luminere: *runs past the mama tunnel, trips and falls. He bow flies out of her hand and lands in front of Zyht.*

"Luminere!" Aerinin says, surprised. He runs back to help her up. "Are you uninjured...?"

Zyht: *was looking the other way* Ugh... *turns to see a bow in front of him* . . . huh?

Luminere: I'm fine... Where'd my bow go? *she looks around, but cant seem to find where her bow landed*

Zyht: *stands and picks up the bow to examine it* It's damaged... *notices something* what's this...

Luminere: I can't enter with just a quiver! *she begins to look around the mana tunnel*

Zyht: *still hasn't noticed Luminere* Wonder where it came from... *turns it over, examining it* Property of... Lum-In-Ear?

Luminere: *looks up and finally sees Zyht* Um... have you seen a b- THAT'S MY BOW!!! >:U *she snatches it out of his hands*

"L-Luminere, calm down, please..." Aerinin said softly, trying to lower the tension. He glanced at Zyht, recognizing him. "Weren't you talking to Castenea earlier?"

Zyht: *shocked by her sudden movement, he jumped back* . . . *as he heard Aerinin speak, he recognized the name but could not recall who it was that the Drow had spoken of. Although this conflict occurred due to his near-death experience with Hagel* Sorry, I can't seem to recall... I don't believe I've spoken to anyone except for that crazy Bear...

Luminere: *She sighs* Castenea is that Fox lady that we spoke to earlier...
*All the way from where they were standing, They could hear a person yelling*
Hagel: WHAT DID YOU CALL ME?!?

Aerinin jumped, surprised as he heard someone shout. Deciding to ignore it for now, he looked towards the cave, feeling a sense of nostalgia rising within him, just like when he saw the scimitar for the first time. Images played in his head.

A slim female with angelic wings ran past, her face filled with fright, yet radiating determination. Aerinin could feel similar emotions rising within him as he ran with the girl, presumably a faerie of some sort, out of a cavern. Aerinin noticed two others following behind, each ascending to the same goal as Aerinin as this girl and he. The sun blasted his eyes as he reached the cave's opening. The girl placed a hand on his shoulder and he felt a rush of energy. He glanced at her as the sun no longer hurt his eyes.

"I casted a spell on you to keep the light from hurting you," She said, her voice soft yet majestic. It should be permanent."

Aerinin felt a smile creep across his face, yet a sense of danger surged through him. The earth trembled and the four were sent flailing in different directions as the ground underneath them broke away. Yet, Aerinin felt a few words pass through his lips before everything turned black.

"Thank you, Phaitala..."

Now back in reality, Aerinin took a step back, brows furrowed. Though he didn't like it, he might have to postpone his trip to the Battle Arena.

Zyht: . . . Did you hear that? *referring to Hagel*

Luminere: who was that that yelled? It didn't sound too happy... *she turns to Aerinin* Come on! The next match is probably gonna start soon!

"I... I'm sorry..." Aerinin began, still somewhat spaced out. "But... I feel like I... I should go in here. This cave, I mean. Fox boy, were you going into this cave?"

Zyht: Cave? *turns to see a cave in the distance (that cave is the arena... the Ant Hell is located deep within the desert)* Oh... What's in there?

Luminere: Thats the arena. I'm entering the next round.

((Wait... I'm so lost in the geography of this place, haha! So, the cave leads to the battle arena, right? So the entrance to Ant Hell is...?))

"As am I..." Aerinin said.

Zyht: Battle Arena...? . . . Sounds painful...

(The cave near mana tunnel is the Arena. Longa appears in different locations depending on the week its found. and Ant Hell is found through an L-Rod in the desert. When found, Black smoke appears and swallows the people around)

((Alright, cool.))

"I'm willing to do anything to find out who I once was." Aerinin replied. "My memories... There could be a clue at that arena."

Zyht: Wh- *Hearing about Aerinin's memory loss made him wonder what had been occurring more so than ever at this point* . . . I'll help you, that is, if that's cool with you both.

Luminere: Thats fine with me. TO THE ARENA!!!

After seeing the little animals leaving, he looked at castanea and put a nervous smile on, then slowly walked away... he walked out of the city, sat down and stared into the desert, small images popping into his head... he then felt a small urge of hope from his memories.

Shu: the ruins... theres still something in there...

He gets up and rushes towards the ruins, slowly walking in, theres more monsters then usual, and they're harder to beat, slowly he made it to the big door and crept in...

Guardian of the Ruins: IT IS YOU!!!! you... fool.... i've grown stronger... and i've cloned myself...

Two copies of the guardian comes out from behind him and chases Shu. Shu rushes around and breaks a few things, causing the guardians to be trapped by rubble.

Shu: Heh...heh...heh...

Shu slowly pulls out a bow and starts shooting arrows faster then anything, finally they all die... Shu goes to the back area where theres nothing, except for a small hole in the wall... Shu goes up to it and puts a key one of the guardians dropped into the hole, a secret entrence opens up and in there, is a single egg, as shiny as silver... Shu picks it up and it feels warm... Shu slowly rubs it.

Shu: whatever comes out of this egg... i'm naming it... Fluffeh.

Shu left the ruins with high hopes and the silver egg, knowing the egg will bring him luck in the future.


Rioluko slowly gets up from her bed, going downstairs and seeing Jestil...

Rioluko: i coulda handled that moron myself... i didn't need help... those chains were weak. i just needed a bit more energy to break them... anyways, i'm leaving this dump.

Jestil: You're up early. Why dont you help me with the adoption agency? *a tiny panda tumbles over to rioluko and makes a really cute face* Oh, and your friend went out for a bit.

Shu walks back to the house slowly, but steadily...holding the egg closely, a few cracks already on the egg, he goes into the house, seeing Rioluko, Jestil, and a panda. Shu goes up to the panda and gently pets it with a warm smile, then looks at jestil.

Shu: thanks for your hospitality, but i think i should be going... i have other destinations to be at....

He slowly gathers up food and water, and his bags and walks out the door, leaving the town.


Rioluko stares at the human while he leaves and slowly sighs.

Rioluko: i'm glad that filthy human left, his stench was stinking this place up like a rat's nest after the mother gives birth.

Rioluko gives an evil smile and then walks out of the house and wanders around.
