The penny war.

Luna: hmmm... *her outfit changes to a girl's baseball uniform as a large engine materializes in her hands* I have absolutely no idea what i pulled this engine off of, but oh well. couldn't have been too important. BATTER UP!!! *she swings the enging at Chris and hits Tangkath*

Tangkath: OOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *flies right into Chris. when he looks into his shadowy body, the penny is floating in it. He reaches into his own chest and retrieves the treasure.* PENNY GET! *he dashes off, only to have Delques jump onto him and sit on his head while using Frostmorne as a riding crop to urge Tangkath to fly faster.*
Delques: ONWARD, TANGKATH! GO GO GO! MUSH! MUSH!

*A silvery light flashes nearby as Chronos appears on the field.*
Chronos: The cause of the end of the world should be around... *Sees the fight over the penny.* here... *He warps over, snatching the penny from Tangkath examining it carefully.* Now, how could this end the world...?

Luna: *swings the engine again, but this time, at chronos* HOME RUN!
Luminere: *fires another arrow*

In a blur, the penny was quickly snatched away from all the combatants. Rufus, having survived the ice claw attack, was riding Sleipnir with his Cavalier patch installed, making him nothing more than a blur as they sped away. "I suppose the penny is ours." Rufus replied.

"If we manage to get away!" Sleipnir added.

Luminere: NO! *fires mulitple arrows at once* GIMMEH TEH PENNYZORZ! >:U

Ru ran at surprising speed on all fours to catch up to Sleipnir and Rufus, her jaw hanging open as her tongue lolled out in a pant, droll dripping from her mouth to the ground in large splotches. In a blur of blue and orange, she dashed ahead, spilling the slippery liquid all over the ground, much like an oil spill.

Ru ended up saving Rufus and Sleipnir. The poor horse began to slide as if he was on an ice skating rink, and horses were by no means ice skaters. The arrows flew too far and hit the area ahead of them, while Sleipnir careened off into a pillar, commander and SABER hilariously crashing against it. The penny flew out of Rufus' hand and rolled away... towards a pool of acid that seemed out of place.

Tangkath: *appears out of a void in front of the acid pool and takes the penny. He then turns to face the reader.* Seriously. Carl. Kay. Alex. Jordan. Dimitri. Gimme a raise! I go through way too much crap for the entertainment of these people! I mean, *shows picture from first New Geneforce episode.* I took a Hyperion Light blast through the stomach! Do you have any idea how much that stuff stings?!
Delques: TANGKATH! 4TH WALL, REMEMBER!?
Tangkath: No, no. Screw that! Carl, you are a no talent hack at story writing for this friggin site! Who do you think you- *before he can finish, a giant hand with a pencil comes down from the sky and erases his mouth.*
Carl: Sorry about all that, folks. Please enjoy the rest of the penny war!
Tangkath: *makes many rude gestures then he and Delques run off.*

Rufus and Sleipnir quickly grabbed the penny from Tangkath with the aid of Sleipnir's Lightning Charge. Then, Rufus tried a very underhanded tactic. He summoned Lightning, and switched to her. "Come on, Lightning, let's get outta here!"

"Right!" Lightning replied, galloping off.

It wasn't obvious unless you looked closely, but Rufus had hidden the penny in Sleipnir's mane.
