Three Days to Get There

Rules:

1) NO godmodding!
2) No tag teaming with another character. You must fight your own battle. However, you may use more then one of your OWN characters.
3) You may summon creatures to aid you
4) Dont kill easily... Make it epic!
5) You character is allowed to die!
6) Have fun!

Heres the story....

Your character is on its way to the portal that had just opened, leading to one of the many Geneforce bases, Iciaura; which also serves as a HQ for the Nexus. As they are happily going their way, they are attacked by their enemy! The portal can only stay open for three real days, (fill the time!) and you can't walk from the enemy... After the three days, the rp will go normally with epicness. then is when you can bring in more characters, and do what ever. If you need any info on Iciaura, please PM me.

Notes:

If your character does die, the enemy is able to take the portal! If your character makes it to iciaura in time, they must report to Princess Luna Materex the Hedgehog, for medical attention, housing, and to wait for the others to arrive. If one enemy shows, those who are already at the castle, have to fight.


~Prologue~

~~An icy blue hedgehog girl sits on a throne in the castle on the planet known as Iciaura. She stares out a large window at the lightly swirling snow, thinking about her friends. The geneforce had a major meeting coming up and the chosen place to meet was her home itself. A sand colored cat and a light orange cat with a bright green gem on its forehead jumped onto her lap. She sighs and pets the gemmed one.~~

Luna: Four days until the meeting, five minutes to open the portal, and three days until the portal closes... Saito, please bring me the trans-crystal.
*the sand colored cat jumps down*
Saito: OKAY!!! *runs out and crashing noises can be heard. He runs back in with a bright red crystal on a string hanging out of his mouth* ERE OU O!!!! (here you go!)
Luna Thank you... *she takes the crystal and trows it into the air. Portals open in New Geneforce City, Zul, Tropics, Mobius, and Heanewind.* Nahn, send out the Message butterflies. Let everyone know about the portal to the meeting. and tell the to be careful.
*The gemmed cat jumps up and polymorphs into a robotic cat humanoid and runs off*
Nahn: You got it!

Neo Geneforce City. A large bustling city now also serving as the new HQ for the Ailuro ninja clan. We enter Xanthos Ailuro, current leader of this new clan, as he stands before a robotic figure in the city's underground levels. This was where the Ailuro resided. He stands back to admire his work, wiping sweat from his brow. A small explosion is heard in an upper sublevel and Xanthos frowns slightly.

A second Clan member, a cyborg porcupine known as Omicron, enters the room, his cold eyes emotionless. He stands before Xanthos, waiting for the ninja leader to acknowledge him. Xanthos grins at his friend, expecting something interesting to happen.

"We just recieved a Message Butterfly from our Iciauran allies. Their leader wishes to have an audience with the Geneforce. A portal has also opened up near the outskirts of the city, where the Butterfly said it would."

"You don't need to be so formal," Xanthos smirks. "But, it's been a while since we talked to Luna-hime. I suppose the Ailuro will attend. Oh, and by the Ailuro, I mean me. I am representing us, after all."

With that, Xanthos leaves the construction of the robot mecha to Omicron, who begins to tinker with the design nearly immediately. Out side, Xanthos locates the portal using his trans-crystal. He heads towards it eagerly.

Nahn: The butterflies were sent and recieved successfully!

~Avelon City~
*Alex is sitting on the palace steps, reading Mary Shelly's Frankenstien*
Alex: Wow....I never thought a being could feel such loneliness as the Creature.....
*Archemedes Porter, a 15 year old bull in crusader armor runs over to Alex*
Archemedes: Templar Knight Law! you have a mission. You are to report to the portal leading to Iciaura. you have three days to get there. be warned: reports say that Darkstorm Works member Gallywix is trying to find the portal as well.
Alex: Death, danger, Geneforce meeting, the possiblity that my friends and family will die.....what else is new? *gets up and starts to walk out of the city*

~Iciaura~

Nahn: The second butterfly has been recieved successfully*

Xanthos: *Approaches portal wearing a nice looking business suit. He adjusts his collar and steps towards the portal when a blast of lava incinerates the ground before him. Xanthos looks up to see a black hooded figure on a nearby cliffside, his height not much taller than Xanthos. The mysterious person leaps down from the cliff, landing a distance away from Xanthos. The stranger lifts a hand, and a cluster of crimson icicles bursts to life from it. The stranger dashes forward to attack Xanthos.*

Xanthos: *His fist glows with purple lightning as his fist collides with the strangers, a large shockwave rumbling the earth. The ninja cat leaps backwards, confused, but not scared. Who was this person? The attacks seemed familiar, but. . .*

???: *Chuckles softly, and hunches over on all fours, a tail coated in lava whipping the air. The stranger dashes forward, claws encased in crimson icicles.* Bloody Moon!

Xanthos: Chaos Lightning Lance! *The lightning around his fist reshapes itself into a cone-like structure as Xanthos swings it forward. The attacks collide once more and this time, the stranger is sent skidding backwards. Xanthos' eyes narrowed, now recognizing where he had seen these moves before. Blastion. Luna. And something else that Xanthos couldn't put his finger on.* Just who are you?!

???: The one without a name. Born of volcano and blizzard, yet known by neither. I suppose you could call me the steam that exists when fire meets water.

Xanthos: ~Steam? What's going on here. . . ?~

(Garm? Very nice!!!!)

Cody: XANTHOS *PUSHES THE Unknown one*
Speedster: RING OF WISHES * A white Ring Form Around Xanthos healing Him*

(Actually. . . it's not Garm. And not Mystess either. And, Cody, Steam isn't very good at controlling his powers, so Xanthos should be fine.)


Xanthos: *He grits his teeth and twirls a kunai around his hand, waiting.*

"Steam": *Stands slowly and his hood slowly falls off his face, revealing a crimson-furred fox-like face with yellow marking on his face Xanthos stifled a gasp as he noticed one on his forehead formed a moon.*

Xanthos: ~The volcano must be Blastion. . . and Luna is the blizzard. But. . . who is this guy?~

"Steam": Let's have some more fun. *Runs forward, flinging several crimson icicles at Xanthos.*

~iciaura~

Saito: *jumps and slides down the banister* WHEEEE!!

Xanthos: *Dodges the crystals and rolls behind a nearby cluster of rocks. He would need to use the terrain to his advantage. Close-quarters combat would be suicide against an opponent like this; the icicles seemed to be able to grow from anywhere on Steam's body. Xanthos clasped his hands together and forms several clones behind other natural shields; under the cover of the cliff, hidden under the ground in air pockets, etc. It was time to neutralize the target.*

Steam: *Pacing around to find Xanthos.* Still can't remember me, Xanthos? It was during your three-way spar a while ago. With Luna and Blastion? Don't you remember when Blastion lost control of his abilities?

Xanthos: *His eyes narrow, remembering. . .*

Blastion: RAAAAUUUGGGHHHH!!!! *The shockwaves become more massive and now contain traces of lava.* YOU'LL REGRET WHAT YOU'VE DONE!!! RAUGH!!! *Massive amounts of lava now fill the shockwaves. The shockwaves have gained massive amounts of range and power.*

Luna: *She slowly wakes up and sees the chaos around her.* Xanthos? What's going on? Why is he acting like this?

Xanthos: Time is of the essence and only you can stop this disaster from happening! *Grips Luna's shoulder's roughly.* My voice cannot reach him, but yours might! Only you can do this! Use your powers to make your spirit leave your body and purify Blastions mind!

Luna: *She stares ahead, mind numb. She slowly nods and turns to Xanthos.* Watch my body while I'm gone, okay? *With that, her life force leaves her body, entering Blastion's mind.*

*As Luna made mental contact with Blastion, Xanthos breathed a sigh of relief. He knew that Luna could and would rescue the fox from his state of despair. But before Xanthos could relax his nerves, an overwhelming presence slammed into him, catching him off guard.**

Xanthos: ~What in the world?~

*Xanthos was in shock. This couldn't be real.

Complete and utter shock as a large blast of energy ripped through him, searing his fur and slamming him into a rock wall. Before he could recover, an overwhelming tidal wave of flame scorched over his body, and he began to lose consciousness. *

*Xanthos was slowly raised by his scarf by a black hooded figure. A swirling mass of energy danced around his fingers as he let out a low chuckle. Xanthos opened his eyes weakly, he longer had the strength to move. He mentally cursed as the second attacker, a large quadroped, spat into the ground, which instantly combusted upon contact.*

*Suddenly, the hooded figure dissolved his energy, and dropped Xanthos roughly. The second one sneered as it began to evaporate into shimmering sparks. The hooded figure chuckled as it followed suit. Both beings seemed to meld together and in the form of a white orb, blasted away, but was thought to be a shooting star. An irritated moan escaped Xanthos as his world slowly turned black.*

Xanthos: *His eyes widen, surprised. How could that be possible?*

Steam: Yes, I was two, but then. . . I became one. Now, Xanthos, come out so we can play.

Xanthos: *Lightning sparks around his fist. This was about to get serious.*

Luna: *sighs* I hope the make it here alright...

Xanthos: *Lightning coursing through his body, Xanthos burst from the rocks, using his Body Flicker Jutsu to accelerate at high speeds towards Steam. Running around Steam in a large circle at high speeds, Xanthos fired powerful bolts of energy at his opponent, who was unable to track Xanthos' speed. But the fun wasn't over yet. Xanthos' clones lept from their various hiding positions, attacking Steam from all directions in an unrelenting assault.*

Steam: *Lets out cries of anger as he is repeatedly struck by the lightning spears. His eyes become red as anger fills his being, making crimson icicles grow sporadically from his body as the attack continues. Finally letting it loose with a mighty roar, Steam fires the icicles in all directions, effectively halting Xanthos' attack.*

Xanthos: *Leaps backwards, a crimson icicle grazing his fur. Wincing, Xanthos glared at his fatigued opponent. The two exchanged a fierce glaring showdown, neither quite willing to back off. Xanthos breaks the tension slowly.* Looks like you have some skill, Steam. But. . . why attack me? Why be a villain?

Steam: *Says nothing at first, then replies slowly, choosing his words carefully.* To prove that I am the ultimate life form. I have Blastion's lava manipulation and necromancer powers. I also Luna's cryokinesis and psychic abilities in addition to her other latent powers. And. . . *His hand bursts into white flame.* It appears that I have Daitengu's abilities as well. Inside of me. . . is also something else. . . Something strange. . . But, my actions are only seen as villainous by you. You don't know me, so don't try to be my friend.

Xanthos: You don't know. . . how wrong you are. I know much about both Blastion and Luna, and Daitengu as well. You need to control your power, or else it will consume you!

Steam: Shut up! After I kill you, I'm going after Blastion, then Luna! Then the rest of your puny Geneforce!

Xanthos: *Mutters.* You'll never have the chance. *Xanthos' last clone, hiding underground, bursts from the ground, sending an electric shock to Steam's brain, temporarily causing the "Ultimate life form" to black out.*

Xanthos: Game over. *He stares at Steam, then back at the portal. Sighing, he lifts his trans-crystal armband to Steam, who is swallowed by a dull light. Xanthos clears his throat, adjusts his collar and walks through the portal to Iciaura.*

Xanthos: *He shivers a little as he is greeted by snow and ice smacking his face. To the east, he could faintly make out the outline of Iciaura's castle. As he walked towards it, he found himself lost in thought. How many people lived here? Not many, last time he checked. Hopefully, one day, it could become more socially active. He found himself at the footsteps of the castle and he stood before the large doors, not quite sure how to tell Luna-hime he had arrived.*

*the large doors open to him*

Xanthos: Oh, right, I almost forgot. . . she's psychic. . . *He shrugs and walks inside.*

Luna: *sitting in the throne room, in dark blue sweater, and her normal skirt*
