[BnHA] The Wandering Delinquent King
Part 1
~Okinawa, Magito City (play off the Star Wars planet
Mygeeto), one week after the day at the coffee shop~
The evening air blew cooly through the smog-filled streets of Magito, the central and most massive city in all the island of Okinawa, as Daizo sat calmly in front of the steps of the local Buddhist Shrine, his eye black and blue from the massive fist he took to it when he told his grandfather that he was resolved to become a hero.
'GET OUT AND NEVER COME BACK! JUST LIKE YOUR SHITHEEL BROTHER, YOU ARE NOT ONE OF US, DAIZO! I CURSE THE DAYS YOU IDIOT BROTHERS WERE BORN!'
Those were the last words his grandfather had said to him. Now, he was completely homeless, and had no money or means of getting to Tokyo to enter UA, and had only the clothes on his back. This temple, though, was the home of his cousins, Ranmaru and Saiko. They both supported his choice to pursue heroics. He also knew they probably were told by Genryusai, his grandfather, to offer him no aid. He hoped they would disobey just this once...it was slim, but his best shot. Just as he was about to give up, the front gates to the shrine open.
Out steps two young teens, around fourteen or so. The boy had pale skin and a sturdy build, like Daizo, but his head was completely shaved bald and he wore the robes of a full Buddhist monk. The girl, however, had long, shaggy white hair and a strong, sporty build, with facial features that gave her a striking resemblance to both the monk and Daizo. The girl wore a simple middle school uniform, and seemed more confident than the monk as she gives Daizo a curt nod. "Hey, Dai-chan..."
Daizo rises to his feet, nodding back. "Saiko...have you guys heard from Gii-gii already?..."
The monk nods, clearly uncomfortable with the situation. "We don't want trouble with Gramps, but...turning you away would be evil. You're noble, Dai. Thick-skulled, but noble..."
Saiko then steps forward, her face hard. "So, the only way we can help you...is if you help the area. One more time, as The Delinquent King of Katahara Village....There's been trouble lately. Koda's at it again. He's stirring up a lot of shit, beating down drug runners and taking their territory and their stock....then pushing that poison through the streets himself to the most vulnerable people for the highest profit. We need you to put him out of comission one more time. This time...so he will never show his face to the Gangs again."
Daizo grits his teeth, growling the name he hated so much. "Banryu...fine. Where and when?"
Saiko nods. "Mundi's junk yard. Banryu is competing in a brawl there. Winner gets an audience with some big wig guy from America. Apparently, this guy is offering to back the winner...if you jump in and break it up, Banryu will lose all face. Can you do it?"
Daizo's eyes gleam as he nods, slapping his knee and stomping his foot. "Its time me and Koda ended this, anyway..."
