The Lost Boys: Renegade of the Mind (Revival)
Admin's Note: This topic was revived by Admin RKRobot on the counts that it was a barely used concept and should have a second chance before being tossed out completely. If you want to join or rejoin, now is the time.
Genre: This RP is action/adventure style with romantic/dating sim aspects. Free Roam style (meaning you don't have to stick to the general plot all the time).
Anyone can join this role-play at any given time, but start early if you want the best opportunities!
Rules:
-No Godmodding (controlling others characters without permission, always dodging attacks, killing other characters willy-nilly)
-Keep this one PG-13. No nudity beyond bare legs, arms, shoulders, collarbone area or midriff.
-No Drama - what is said, is said and done. Everything is final.
-You MUST play as a female character, or a character who identifies as female.
-You can create your character's visual with this online simulator, or you can go find a decent google image with most of the body shown. You can also use a different version of a character you already made up for convenience-sake.
-Anthros, humans, creaturefolk, elves, whatever species you want IS ALLOWED.
-Magic is not really a big thing in this RP, so if your character has it, make sure it is basic, low-level stuff.

There once was a unity of technology-weilders known to the commoners as Masters of Mind. The Masters of Mind once created things to benefit creature-kind all over, inventing and employing chemists to create vaccines, structuring computers to aid manufacturers where beings did not survive and finding numerous sources of energy so that pollution reached its lowest of levels. They were respected, treasured, but with all this high treatment, the Masters of Mind became corrupt and greedy.
Demanding more praise, worship, and offerings as if they were gods, the people turned against them, finding it ridiculous that they now had a hefty price on their good deeds. Some, found it reasonable and inadvertently contributed more and more to their outrageous greed. Others found it deplorable, and refused to give in to their monopolization of the world's resources. These people were in the minority.
Several villages and small cities of those who rejected this act of worship lived on their own sources of power and resources, but every once in a while, the Masters of Mind would visit these small locations and barter their greatest minds for ultimate security and protection... and undying worship. Most of them had given in, their poverty and dignity exchange for "the better." Others still refused to trade in their intelligent friends and family for the rest of their community. These groups were shunned from the rest of the world, only to collaborate with other distant, non-worshippers for survival.
Sometimes, when the Masters of the Mind would come to these towns, the commoners attempted to assassinate them with all they had. Knowing they would be targeted, however, all of these attempts at claiming their lives had failed. When this action was taken by a village or city, the Masters would return later only to destroy it, entirely. This left many homeless and hopeless. This is where the underground union of the Lost Boys comes in.
The Lost Boys are a group of vigilante teenagers and young adults that act as a sort of super hero force for those who still refuse the Masters of Mind. They travel to these towns to help them with trade, city-city disputes and of course, defending the land from these conceited crooks. Anyone who loses their home will be relocated to another city or to the Lost Cavern, where the Boys will house refugees until they can find a place for them to stay. They live in the deep forest of Hopen, and no matter how hard they try, the Masters of Mind have not yet found their location. While the Boys are only just that - boys - they are welcome to new members of any kind. They also hold tryouts for their team if any person is willing to accept their challenges. Several members have already lost their lives in fighting the Masters, but the seven that remain still have hope that they can overthrow the Masters and restore the harmony between the beings.
Your character is currently in the Lost Cavern. It's an underground system of tunnels that houses about a hundred civilians at a time, but right now there are only 30. Each room hosts about 2 people each, and your upper bunk is empty. There are no windows underground, but you have a sink with working water, a dusty mirror, a door to the central Cavern Hall, and a desk that has some of your stuff, including clean clothes. The Lost Boys are currently out on a hunt to feed all these people, so your character has time to gather themselves before they return. They will ask if anyone wants to try and become part of their group, but if not, you will begin the journey to another city that will take refugees.
Its early in the morning, so wake up!

Weapon of Choice: (only one, unless it is two handed or dual wielding knives)
Class-
Long-Distance: Bows, crossbows, guns, spears, throwing knives are within your arsenal. You likely have lots of speed and accuracy, but are rather weak once you get up close and personal with enemies. You usually wear comfortable clothing. You always have ammunition on you of whatever it is you carry.
Close-Combat: Battleaxe, daggers, long sword, short sword, club, shield, bats are within your arsenal. You likely have lots of power and jump skill, but you might not be able to see far away and can't do calculations well. You usually wear armor, and while heavy at times, it protects your body where it needs to. You can usually find/make weapons out of anything.
Acrobat: Special knuckles, punching gloves, combat boots, knives, whips, staffs are within your arsenal. You likely have lots of speed and jump skill, but with the right training and combination, you could be a decently strong or super brainy. You usually wear light armor with potentially skin-tight bodysuits that allow you to move quickly and effortlessly. You stretch daily in order to maintain balance and prevent your body from aching. You know a lot about the body, as a result.
Tech-Reliant: Dart guns, guns, spear-launcher, knife-launcher, smoke bombs, laser swords, energy shield, beam daggers are within your arsenal. You likely have lots of intelligence and accuracy, but depending on your education and training, you could be really powerful or one of those rare, athletic geeks. You usually wear things that are comfortable, since you don't run around so much, but are smarter with your choices to suit all kinds of weather conditions. You know your way around traps and can craft things on the go, even if its small amount/size.

Chellen, the Veteran
Acrobat Class
Age: 16
Chellen is the younger sister of Kizel. She used to be a part of the missions, until she witnessed the gruesomeness of a war between cities. She lost a dear friend that day and resigned, only to be the leader of the Cavern and all who live there. She makes the rules, so don't make her angry!
Kuwan, the Veteran
Close-Combat Class
Age: 24
Kuwan is the cousin of Hazuma. Like Chellen, she used to go on missions, and lasted a little longer than her female comrade until an accident broke 3 ribs and a leg. After 2 years of healing and improving her body's condition, she is told time and again not to return to the field until she is as strong as she was. She is the lead caretaker of the Cavern, and helps Chellen organize things.
The Lost Boys
Kizel, the Leader
Long-Distance Class
Age: 19
Kizel is one of the founding members of the Lost Boys. When he and his sister were younger, their city was invaded by the Masters of the Mind and stole away a family friend. When their father and mother fought back, the Masters returned to the city to decimate it. Both their mother and father were lost in the event, and Kizel and Chellen were left to their own. Kizel remains today as a master of the long bow, a suave and slick young man of courage and skill. He is always ready for fun and battle.
Masuya, the Right-Hand Man
Close-Combat Class
Age: 18
Masuya was born of a Master of Mind shortly after the worshipping began. Because he was not immediately born as a genius, he was cast aside as worthless, forced to live for himself in the streets. Thankfully, he overcame social trials as a youngster and networked well within the streets of his home city to stay alive, creating factions from all over the place. When he attempted to branch out into another city, he ran into Kizel and Chellen in the woods, quickly forming a friendship with them. His levity dark situations helped ease tension during their most critical moments, and his performance in close combat was just what the siblings needed to keep them going. Masuya is one of the founding members of the Lost Boys and is very much brotherly to all members of the team. His jovial outlook on winning and losing makes him an ideal playmate, even though his tendency to gamble gets him competitive.
Anen, the Crafty
Acrobatic Class
Age: 20
Anen came from a wealthy family of traders and merchants, spoiled rotten by richness and investing. His greed was great, so when he found out that his mother married another man with his own son, he became very jealous that the other child was getting so much attention. Saum, the other boy, was verbally abused by Anen for years, and without remorse, the wealthy son continued up until his family became bankrupt after the Masters pulled the funding plug. With his mother and step father working full time to try and survive, Anen regrettably relied on Saum's skills until he could muster up his own with a bejeweled Scimitar. The two boys became a successful tag team of thieves until they got lost in the deep woods, finding the rogue team of teens and joining them to share their stories and techniques. Anen can currently flex himself in and out of traps, uses lightning fast reflexes to avoid gunfire, and his wall/ceiling climbing is only rivaled by professionals. He's much more conceited than his partners, but this also means his brutal honesty is true for any compliments he hands out.
Saum, the Crafter
Tech-Reliant Class
Age: 21
Saum was a poor boy living with his hard-working father for most of his life, until fortune blessed them with a wealthy home and a new family. Being grateful for his new chance at life, Saum did his best to pull his own weight around the household, even when his new step brother became a constant problem. In his spare time, he fixed broken things, getting an understanding for technology and learning how to use it. After the family lost all their money, he immediately took action to make sure that everyone was able to find work or have enough food to make it another day, even if that required him to steal with Anen. During this time, the two brothers became friendly towards each other and learned to cooperate, making Saum one of the most cooperative and easy going people in the Lost Boys community. Once they found the group after leaving the city one day, Saum was easily accepted, while his brother's bratty tantrums took some time to get used to. Sam can fix almost any appliance now that he's had more time to harness his skills, as well as create several weapons, utilities and gear for the Lost Boys to use in combat. He is personally skilled with laser-based weapons, such as his custom built beam sword.
Nalee, the Hunter
Long-Distance Class
Age: 19
Nalee lived in a house of several older siblings, and because he was the youngest, he was in charge of most of the household chores, from cooking to cleaning to landscaping. As he did these menial jobs, he learned that he was very fond of nature and left it to his siblings to work with technology. It was then that he found his siblings slowly disappearing to the Masters of the Mind, slowly becoming more and more depressed each time he lost a relative. When he was the only one left, the Masters aimed to take him away into their unity, believing that he was just as good as the others. Realizing he didn't want to be a part of this group that made people more and more lonely, he escaped their clutches, physically maiming one of them in the process. To this day, he is one of few beings to actually land a hit on the Masters. Finding the Lost Boys, they quickly accepted him, telling them that all hope is not lost, and that these gods can bleed. He can track any animal, follow scents, and has very keen vision and hearing. He also knows how to camouflage when necessary, sometimes becoming invisible to the untrained eye.
Hazuma, the Samurai
Close-Combat Class
Age: 22
Hazuma never grew close to anyone as a child, always neglecting people for his studies and readings. When he discovered art and dancing however, he became quickly entranced and took it up, himself. When he became a dancer, he was asked to dance for the Masters of the Mind, living in a worshipper's city. As much as he tried to gather the emotion and will to do so, he could not preform adequately, and the Masters had ordered his family to disown him, as he was not good enough to live in a privileged area. Kuwan had discovered this banishment and found it abhorrent, rushing to her cousin's side to protect him. The two of them later found the Lost Boys, which at the time had only 3 members, and joined the group to rebel against society. Over time, Hazuma would slowly get more socialized with the others, and now, he is smooth, physical and show-offy. He's very much an empath, but more of a behavior analyst and can detect emotions just by looking at someone.
Reyden, the Builder
Tech-Reliant Class
Age: 18
At a young age, Reyden was always interested in becoming an architect like his grandparents, who were his only guardians at the time. However, when the Masters of Mind came to his town, his elderly protectors refused to share with them the knowledge that their grandson was very intelligent and skilled. Ever since, he had been a well-kept secret, learning tools of the trade from neighbors and family friends the longer he stayed secret. However, when his grandparents passed away, nothing would keep him safe any longer, and in effort to hide his talents further and thusly protect the people who did not want to give him up, he ran away from his home. It was then that he found the Lost Boys, who took him in as their newest member, giving him the "easy" job of building them a place to live. Reyden is a quiet young man with a soft heart, but strong hands. He is very lonely and easily depressed, and even though he does not say much, looks for company everywhere he goes. When there is none, he whispers to himself.

Re: The Lost Boys: Renegade of the Mind (Revival)
- Spoiler:
Name: Lorelai, the Child of the Trees
Age: 12
Race/Species: Nature Elemental
Weapon of Choice: Bow and Arrow
Class- Long-Distance
Statistics -
Speed: 10
Accuracy: 10
Jump: 6
Power: 6
Intelligence: 7
Personality: Lorelai is very shy child, who is quite in tune with nature. She doesn't speak very often, and uses actions more than words. She always seems to know when somebody needs comforting, as she'll pounce on them and rub against them much like an animal. It would probably be because she spent 9 years of her life out in the wild, living amongst animals (learning their lifestyles and languages) and eventually harnessing the essence of Nature itself. (In other words, her personality and way of living is more animal-like then person-like.)
Backstory: Born as the daughter of a Master of Mind, she spent the first few years of her life surrounded by technology. Her family forced their beliefs and tech onto Lorelai, and she absolutely hated it. Her parents quickly took to their daughter's unhappiness, and thought long and hard about what they should do. They couldn't have their good name soiled by this child, so they took Lorelai out deep into the woods and told her to wait there; they'd be back with a special present.
They never came back.
Lorelai then wandered through the woods, weak, lost and terrified. She couldn't find her way back; she had no knowledge of the outdoors. The small girl climbed a tree cried herself to sleep. When she awoke, there were several birds on the nearby branches and one on her knee. It looked at her and cooed before flying off. Lorelai hopped down from the tree and began to wander again. She eventually collapsed from exhaustion and passed out. When she came to, something had dragged her into a little cave. There were a few fruits in a pile as well as a few hunks of fresh meat. She looked around, realizing that she was in a fox hole.
She spent the next eight years living with the forest creatures and the flora around her, learning everything she could ever need to know. From living the way she had, the natural magic of Nature had woven itself in her soul; granting her the attributes of a fox (ears and tail), proficiency with natural weapons (the bow and arrow she made), the ability to speak with animals, and the abilities to purify water and help plants grow faster. When she turned 12, she was found by the Lost boys and taken to the Lost Cavern.
Her family never got over the actions they took to get rid of their daughter. Filled with regret from many years ago, they have set out to try and find their daughter with the thought that their little girl could possibly be alive.
Lorelai uncurled from the ball she slept in, stretching out every appendage she had. She blinked several times, momentarily forgetting that she was underground. With a tiny sigh, she sprang off the bed onto all fours and sprinted out the door like so.
Her actions had earned her many strange looks, but it never bothered her. She was aware of her power, and knew that it would be a very long time before she would be able to reach her full potential. Lorelai wondered if there was anyone here who could teach her, but in the back of her mind, she doubted it. She wanted to be part of the group, and she also wondered if she would be accepted...
Re: The Lost Boys: Renegade of the Mind (Revival)
(OOC: I'm going to use someone new if that's okay? Just let me know if there's something wrong with the backstory I wrote for her and I'll be happy to change whatever I need to to make it fit!)
With a yawn and a big wolf-like stretch, Angela woke up to the room in the underground cavern that she'd been given. With a big breath, she flopped onto her back and stared up at the ceiling of the cavernous room. It had been a long time since she'd started her travels to find a new home and finally she was here....possibly. She gave a great sigh and sat up quickly, shaking her head.
Get a hold of yourself Angela. This could be the greatest thing to ever happen to you since your time with that family of winter wolves. You can't screw this up!
She thought to herself, clenching her fists and giving herself a brave smile before hopping out of bed. Quickly she started to do her basic exercise's, getting her gear together and putting her usual clothing on. It had been given to her by a passing traveler, thinking that it'd fit her very well. She smiled as she wiped the dust away from her mirror and looked at herself. She looked good enough. Hopefully her claws and ears wouldn't scare anyone away though....But it wasn't like she was going to clip her claws just to be with someone. They were her pride and joy as the last Ookami of her tribe in the north and if someone didn't like them then that was their problem.
Nodding to herself quickly, she collected the last of her things, straightened her outfit and left her room. Today was a big day for her after all! It was the first time in a long time she'd get to meet so many exciting people at once! She couldn't contain her excitement as she giggled to herself and sprinted down the hallway, eager to begin her new life.
- Angela Rinal, the Fanged Brawler:
Name: Angela Rinal
Age: 18
Race/Species: Ookami (Humanoid being with wolf-like features (ears, tail, etc.))
Weapon of Choice: Fists/Claws
Class: Acrobat
Stats:
Speed: 11
Accuracy: 5
Jump: 8
Power: 10
Intelligence: 6
Personality: Angela's a very social and energetic girl that loves nothing more than to spend her time climbing trees, exploring the world around her, eating and laughing with friends and she especially loves to scrap. Born with a natural gift for making friends, Angela is a very kind girl who is very trusting of others, oftentimes to the point of either getting her into trouble or getting herself hurt emotionally or even physically. She hates being alone and long periods of time without contact with others can often depress her greatly. Although she's proud of her wolf-like ears (she likes them being scratched and rubbed much like a dog does!), she tends to hide her smaller wolf-like tail underneath a skirt or other piece of loose bottom piece. She hates wearing pants or anything too restricting onto her body, especially in the tail region for obvious reasons.
Backstory: Angela was born into the cold mountains of the north much like the rest of her people, making snow and ice one of the many things that she's very used to. She spent much of her childhood playing outside in the snow with the other children of her tribe, making snow wolves (their version of snow angels) and having snowball fights. She was very happy for the first decade of her life.
Then the Masters of Mind came.
Before she could even figure out what was going on, her father and mother were desperately trying to get her to a small cavern for her own safety. Once she was there, she found herself alone with a pack of winter wolves, friendly animals to her tribe. They left her there as they left to go and defend their tribe from the bandits that had come to steal, kill and plunder their tribe's belongings. She huddled closely to the family of winter wolves that she was entrusted with for hours, her ears tightly folded against her head as she closed her eyes tightly and cowered in fear from the fighting going on outside the cave. It wasn't until the next morning that she finally felt brave enough to venture outside and see for herself what had become of her beloved tribe.
What she saw that day would scar her for the rest of her life.
Blood ruled the snow and ice around her village, her friends, litter mates and family's dead bodies were littered around the landscape. Her home was in ruins as was many of the others, burnt and scorched by the flames that the Masters of Mind had brought with them. Picture frames laid broken and destroyed in what was her childhood home, her mother and father's dead carcasses lying face down in her room. And in her mother's clutches was the single most important object in her past decade of life: a small brown teddy bear. Lost in her tears, she had no choice but to gather what things that she could from her destroyed village home and leave. Back then, she hadn't the strength or courage to give her parents a proper burial, something she regrets even to this day.
Soon she found herself in the lonely and unforgiving winters tundra that was once her homeland, hungry and alone for weeks without end. Just as she was about to give up and surrender to her fate, another pack of winter wolves found her and gave her a place to call home. They taught her to hunt, to play and to fight. They gave her companionship when she was alone, food when she was hungry and a family that she had once lost. For the next eight years of her life, she hunted with them, traveled with them as they wandered the frozen tundra, fought with them as they defended their territory's and learned from them. But her happiness would not last forever. Eventually she had to part ways with her newfound family to venture off on her own and find someplace where she could truly belong once again. Bidding a sad goodbye to her old life, she traveled south on the hope that she would soon find a group of creatures just like herself that could give her a real family. And maybe even someone like her that she could find love for.
It was then that she came across the Forest of the Lost Boys. Soon one of the vigilante children found her and offered her food and a place she could finally call a home. Now she waits for her chance to join them in their efforts, hoping that one day soon she could finally be as happy as she had been all those years ago....

((OOC: Both of your entries are just fine! ^_^ I'm going to start now, but if anyone else would like to join in the midst of the RP, send me a PM and I can get you in as soon as there's an opening!))
Lorelai and Angela would soon find each other ahead of a small crowd of refugees, all awakening and leaving their rooms. Within seconds, both of the girls found themselves in the Cavern Hall, a massive room filled with long wooden benches. Special lit candles decorated their tops and along the walls, and to the right a large opening lead to the kitchen, which was currently inactive. All the way across the hall were two long rope ladders that led to another floor, which led to the exit of the Cavern.
A girl with short, light brown hair, short ears and a stubby tail stood lighting one of the last table candles. Placing the flickering candle back down, she turned to look at the two girls who arrived earlier than the others.
"You're up early! You two must be waiting for my brother and the others," Chellen said, crossing her arms across her chest. "Is that true?"
(You know very little about Chellen; all you knew was that she was the younger sister of Kizel and that she made the rules around here.)

Lorelai tilted her head to the left, still crouched in a seated position. She looked up at Chellen and nodded, unblinking. The elemental climbed up into a seat and curled up there, tail swinging about lazily.
"...It is." Lorelai replied quietly, not exactly used to using her voice. A flower sprouted up through the ground under the bench she was lounging on, as she stared at Chellen with her haunting green eyes.

Angela glanced at the strange little girl that had curled up onto the bench, almost shrieking in delight at the sight of her. She was just so adorable! She restrained herself though, only letting out a small squeak as she turned her attention back to Chellen. She gave her a fanged grin.
"Yeap! I'm used to getting up early and catching the prey as its waking up. Call me a morning wolf!"
She exclaimed, glancing back and forth between the cute little girl with the tail and Chellen. She really wanted to just pick her up and wrap her in a big hug but she knew it would've just been rude to do it without asking first.

Chellen raised an eyebrow at Lorelai, finding her behavior a bit odd, but then again, she left in the woods for many years. She glanced at Angela when she squeaked, surprised she found the girl this cute. She shook it off, at least pleased to know that they were ready for the day ahead.
"Well, you're both in luck. They'll be back in just a few more minutes, but since you two are the earliest here..." she said with a smile. "Pick any seat up front! It'll make you stand out more from the others."
She directed the girls with outstretched arms to the front of the room; right on time too, as the others soon arrived in the Cavern Hall. The cat-eared girl quickly rushed over to the front of the room, where a finely crafted platform stood just before the ladders. She stepped onto it and waved the others in.
"Come on, everyone! Grab a seat! Your Boys will be here soon!"

Lorelai hopped off her chair and moved closer to the front before the seats all filled up. The main reason she moved was to get away from the squealing girl. The noises she made annoyed her ears. She seemed older then Lorelai, but she seemed... a bit less mature at the same time.

Angela smiled and nodded quickly to what Chellen told her before running off to the front of the cavern to get her seat. Seeing the little fox girl going there too, she walked over to her and gestured to the empty seat next to her.
"Mind if I sit next to you? I won't be a bother I promise."
She asked politely, giving the girl a grin.

Lorelai simply hopped to the next seat over, then gestured to the seat that Angela wanted to sit it. She gave an inward sigh of relief when someone sat right next to her. She curled up into a ball, tail hanging off the edge. she let out a yawn and focused on the stage, awaiting the arrival of the boys.
As she waited, she closed her eyes, a small patch of dandelions growing under her seat. Eyes still closed, she brushed the flowers with her tail and gave a small smile. Plants and animals were her friends...

Angela smiled and took her seat next to the cute little girl, watching her as her tail brushed something beneath the seat. She tilted her head curiously at the action, looking underneath her seat and seeing the small patch of dandelions there. She smiled at it and looked to the girl again.
"So you like flowers huh? That's cute~"
She commented to her, watching for the boys' return.

Re: The Lost Boys: Renegade of the Mind (Revival)
The mass of 20-something others finally arrived, most of them wearing nervous or anxious expressions. Their ages varied, but many of them were either really young (teenage or below) or really old (over 40). It could be assumed that the Masters of the Mind had decimated their village and those who were old enough were either taken away or killed in the midst of the attack.
Once they were seated, Chellen tapped her foot on the wooden platform, impatiently waiting for the Boys to return. After only a few seconds, she puffed up her chest and went towards the exit ladders. She muttered a few things under her breath, but the amount of talking in the Hall was too loud for anyone to hear it.
She began to climb the ladders, but once she reached the halfway point, she screamed and dropped down. A single rose-like flower shot through the air; everyone shrieked in surprise as the sharpened stem of the flower landed directly in front of Angela and Lorelai, piercing the wood of their table.
A boy with black unkempt black hair started climbing down the ladders, but suddenly kicked off the ropes and backflipped down onto the same table.
His light brown eyes flashed open as he bent down to pick up the rose, saying to Angela and Lorelai, "Did someone say they liked flowers?"
"KIZEL, YOU JERK!!" Chellen cried, rubbing her backside as she got up from the floor. Before she could complain at him more, she jumped out of the way as six other male figures slid down the roped ladders.
They each flamboyantly preformed their own flips onto the other tables, impressing most of their guests. Once the flips were finished with ending poses equivalent to that of an Olympic dancer, they hopped down and headed for the platform to take their bows. The sounds of clapping filled the room.
(These 7 are the Lost Boys. You may or may not know them by name or a particular one depending on who you want to be the one who found your character first - totally up to you. From left to right you could easily see (because you were so close up), Kizel, Masuya, Anen, Saum, Nalee, Hazuma and Reyden.)

"Oh my~ You certainly know how to make an entrance now don't you?"
She commented, tilting her head and letting her ears move with it, giving her a cute look as she smiled and watched him.

Lorelai sat up as the rose pierced the table, only to be promptly picked up by one on the Lost Boys. She watched their performance with little interest, but the noise and movements blurred out into a flashback.
She was crouched underneath a bushel of thorns and roses, cornered by someone. Black hair, brown eyes, gentle coaxing voice. Lorelai was growling and snarling, trying to back further into the bush. She couldn't remember what he was saying, but whatever it was, it started to calm her down. He extended a hand and waited. After several minutes, Lorelai crawled out from under the bush, scratched up and covered in thorns. She took his hand and they walked.
She tilted her head slightly as they made their way to the platform, where she watched intently.

Re: The Lost Boys: Renegade of the Mind (Revival)
After the "show", Kizel stepped forward and opened his arms wide to the audience. Masuya, the long-eared one dressed in a robe, nodded to his words with a smile.
"Hey there, Lost Cavernites! We thought we would treat you guys to some good times after what you've all been through..." he spoke loudly and smoothly, only to be shoved to the side by his little sister, Chellen.
"Next time, do the show without making me hurt myself!" she blurted and stepped forward, a failed attempt at stepping on his foot.
"Don't embarrass me..." Kizel sighed, rolling his eyes and folding his arms. "What would you have done? Talk for 20 minutes? How boring..."
Before she could carry on, the blonde haired boy with long dog-like ears came forward and touched both of their shoulders with each of his hands. Hazuma, draped in his long red, black and silver costume sighed. "Will you two ever stop this needless fighting? We have an important call to action that needs to be taken care of before sunset, today."
"Right," began the brown-haired Anen, who stepped even further forward than Kizel, his curved blade high in the air. "I will sort out the tryouts, then! If you are older than 10 and have the mightiest urge to seek vengeance upon the Masters of the Mind, then you will follow Reyden-!"
The silver haired boy with the red bandana looked up from his spaced-out gaze and trotted over to the ladder.
"If you are not able to fight, do not want to fight or simply want to seek refuge elsewhere, then you will follow Nalee-!" Anen continued strongly.
The green haired and round-eared boy smiled, his eyes happily shut. He walked almost silently over to the other side of the room.
"Lastly, if you need any medical, mechanical or physical help, let Saum know, so he can hook you up with a wheelchair, breathing tubes or something..." he shrugged, his step brother's large fox-like ears pointed backward as he followed Nalee's path.
Now was the time to chose a path! The hall became loud again as the people got up from their seats, ready select a direction. Kizel looked back over at Angela and Lorelai, smiling - especially from Angela's comment. He hoped they would be ones to fight with them. He sensed a great potential...

". . .What do you care. . .?" Lorelai asked quietly, hopping down from the bench. She didn't quite understand why this person kept trying to talk to her. She wasn't one who really wanted friends.
Without another word, or even waiting for Angela to answer, trotted off on all fours to follow Kizel. SHe felt like she owed his some sort of debt, as he rescued her. The least she could do is fight along side him.

Re: The Lost Boys: Renegade of the Mind (Revival)
After everyone got up to follow their desired pathways, Reyden lead those who wanted to tryout for the group up the ladder and out of the Cavern. Lorelai and Angela were then greeted to the gorgeous and lush forest that they all hid out in. It was amazing; there was almost no sign of the hideout from the surface, but it was so large and elaborate down beneath. Some distance away was a small pile of dead Deersk, which the boys previously hunted that morning.
When Kizel, Masuya, Anen and Hazuma came out of the Cavern (Saum and Nalee busy with the others) they scanned over the ones who wanted to fight.
Next to Lorelai was a dark skinned girl with blue hair and long ears. Her pink outfit really stuck out in the green and gold forest, but her expression seemed rather jovial.
"I'm so excited! Today is finally the day I can show them my stuff!" she mumbled, only loud enough so the red-tailed girl could hear.
Beside Angela was a tan skinned, red haired guy with a scowl on his face. His orange and blue clothes were also quite bright, but not as obnoxious as the other girl's.
"I won't let them get any farther in their plans..." he whispered, but only so Angela could listen in.
There were about 4 others who wanted to participate, but they stayed silent and patient while the boys inspected them. When the looking-over was done with, Masuya finally spoke to them.
"So, the seven of you would like to join our group... Right, first step to becoming part of the Lost Boys - or Lost Ones if you ladies prefer - is to get to know one another," he started with a smile. "How we do this is a little differently. You won't tell us your names until you complete your first task. The one monitoring the task will be Kizel, since he called dibs last night and even though that's cheating, it's already been decided. If you don't know who he is, say hi, Ki~"
"They know me," the leader laughed.
"If that's true, then is everyone ready to go?"
(Will you answer or just nod? Maybe you have a question? Ask now!)

Angela perked her ears up slightly when she heard the boy next to her speak up. He sounded....vengeful? She let her ears go back down a bit as she watched him out of the corners of her eyes. She couldn't deny that she wanted justice to be done with what had happened to her tribe, but what was his motivation? Perhaps it was the same as hers? She leaned her head over to the side a bit and glanced at him, a small smile on her lips so that she at least seemed friendly.
"I know how you feel. My entire tribe was wiped out by them. I got left all alone to fend for myself. What about you?"
She whispered to him, watching him closely as she kept one ear perked up for when Kizel spoke up again.

Lorelai's ears flinched at the girls voice, causing her to look over. This new girl's outfit was quite pink, and she seemed quite cheery. So far, the opposite of Lori. At the same time, she wondered what this task was going to be...
". . .I'm ready. . ." She said a little louder then she would normally sound like.
The knew this forest quite well, as well at the creatures that lied within it's borders. She gave the tiniest of smiles, ready to feel at home once more.

Re: The Lost Boys: Renegade of the Mind (Revival)
The guy next to Angela seemed a little shocked to hear a response, but almost glad, as he replied to her question.
"What's left of my family is down in the Cavern, now. We're lucky to have found these rebels, but I'm sorry for your loss..." he uttered, looking over at her with a sorrowful expression.
The chipper girl next to Lorelai heard her words and spouted a squeaky, "Meee tooooo!" She didn't mean to be so obnoxious, of course, but was too caught in the moment to calm herself down. "I wish we were already in!"
Masuya then slid one of his hands inside his other sleeve, taking out a shining red jewel with two of his thin fingers. It was tiny, about the size of a coin (in the real world, about the size of a quarter). The other contestants looked surprised. It appeared to be a treasure-hunting task...
"Your first task is meant to help you identify a specific target in a sea of distractions. If you are not focused, someone else may steal your target, or the opportunity to grab it will disappear. The object of this "game" is to collect ten or more red jewels than your opponents. Working together is allowed, but you cannot share the total number of jewels. If you somehow manage to collect every single one of them without letting anyone else get a chance, then you will not only be disqualified, but you're clearly not human or something because that would be impossible!" Masuya told them, eyeballing the cybernetic-looking brunet with bright blue eyes. She seemed quite suspicious.
He then handed Kizel the jewel, who withdrew his longbow from his back. Fastening the jewel to an arrow, the black haired leader placed his fingers accordingly on the weapon before saying, "You have exactly one hour. I will fire a special arrow when you have five minutes left, so pay attention to the skies. Oh yeah, and going back underground is a dumb idea. We didn't hide them down there."
Without warning, he shot the arrow off somewhere in the distance, and shouted, "GO!"
The other four took off after the arrow, stumbling and tripping over one another to find it and other gems like it. The other boys left to go tend to the food they killed, but Kizel remained by the Cavern's entrance.
The red haired guy next to Angela quickly turned to face her. "My name is Harlin. Would you like to partner up for this? We could both make it in and finally avenge our relatives!"
The girl next to Lorelai started to leave in a different direction, but quickly turned around back to the short girl and winked. "Good luck!"
(you guys can make up the locations of these things as you post, as there are over 50 of them lying around in various trees, bushes, in water, beside rocks, moss, inside tree trunks, under mushrooms, stuff like that! Remember, don't collect every single one of them, but if you find your 10+ before the time is up, try to keep them. The NPCs can try to take them away from you!)

Angela widened her eyes slightly in response to Harlin's sudden suggestion to partner up. First day with everyone being here and she'd already had someone want to help her with something like this? That was great! She was already seeming to make friends! She nodded quickly to Harlin's suggestion and gave the red-haired boy a fanged grin.
"Of course we can partner up for this! My name's Angela, Angela Rinal. It's nice to meet you Harlin."
She said excitedly, already looking around for where Kizel had shot the arrow. If anything, her vision would be the most useful here but if she partnered up with someone then this would be easy! Looking towards a tree nearby, Angela gave a running start at it and leaped, catching the branch and easily heaving herself up onto it before turning back to Harlin.
"Come on! We can do this faster if we have a higher place to spot those gems from!"
She called out to him, waiting to offer him a hand up if he decided to join her hopping through the trees in the forest.

Re: The Lost Boys: Renegade of the Mind (Revival)
Lori trotted off through the trees, using the foraging skills she had picked up from the foxes here. She sniffed about, following the slightly metallic scent that the rubies gave off. She easily found a couple hidden in the roots of trees, under bushes, and hidden under the leaves of wildflowers. She put them in her little leather pouch which was secured to her belt fairly well, then buttoned it closed.
